Designed by Uno and Östen Kristiansson for the Swedish manufacturer Luxus, this table lamp exemplifies 1970s Scandinavian modernism. The substantial, cylindrical base is crafted from glazed ceramic in a deep, metallic bronze shade, finished in a satin to semi-matte sheen. Horizontal, ribbed rings accentuate the upper portion of the base, introducing an architectural rhythm and geometric clarity to the silhouette. The wide, conical lampshade is made from smooth fabric in a light beige or sand tone, which offers a subtle contrast to the dark ceramic and complements the lamp's poised proportions.
