The W2848/011 table lamp by Sölken Leuchten offers a distinctive example of Hollywood Regency design from late 1970s to early 1980s Germany. Its construction features a gold-toned polished brass body, highlighted by decorative diamond-pattern embossing reminiscent of cut crystal. The slender central column is embellished with arched, gold-finished arms, each supporting cascading strands of clear, faceted glass crystals. The lamp’s shade is a matte, frosted glass globe adorned with a winding, abstract pattern reminiscent of frost or climbing vines, producing softly diffused illumination. At the base sits a solid metallic disk, 12.5 cm in diameter, finished in reflective brass. The lamp’s overall proportions are light, geometric, and ornamental—fully capturing the spirit of the glamour epoch. Technical aspects include an inline power switch and an E14 bulb socket. The lamp is preserved in very good vintage condition—retaining all original details, with only minor, age-appropriate signs of use typical for 1980s pieces.
