This wall lamp designed by Hans Kögl in the 1970s is a distinguished example of German lighting inspired by both Hollywood Regency and mid-century modern sensibilities. Crafted entirely from metal, the lamp features a warm gold finish with a subtly matte, textured surface that mimics the natural veining and curvature of real leaves. The sculptural construction is composed of two concentric layers of meticulously formed and hand-finished metal leaves, radiating symmetrically from a central hub. Each leaf displays nuanced gold shading—from deep antique tones to lighter, almost champagne highlights—enhancing the piece’s three-dimensional effect and sense of movement. Carefully executed welds at the base of each leaf and the harmonious, circular geometry lend a robust, rhythmic character. The central section discreetly houses four E14 bulb sockets, while the entire piece measures 44 cm in diameter and 5 cm in depth. The lamp is preserved in very good vintage condition, with a gentle, authentic patina and only minimal traces of age typical for original pieces from this era.
