The Holtkotter table lamp, produced in Germany in the 1990s, exemplifies the late twentieth-century modernist approach to both function and form. Crafted entirely from solid brass, this piece displays a substantial weight and a rich golden hue with a high-gloss finish, subtly accented by a natural patina. The proportions are deliberate: a substantial, round base (21 cm) supports a slender cylindrical stem with adjustable height (45–65 cm). The articulated arm and geometric, trapezoidal shade (8 cm wide) allow for precise directional lighting. An integrated rotary dimmer enables smooth light intensity adjustment. The meticulous craftsmanship is evident in the seamless joints and the absence of visible screws. The lamp is fitted with a halogen light source and comes with the original bulb.
