This hand-knotted Afghan rug, measuring approximately 60 × 80 cm, exemplifies the enduring craft traditions of the region, where unique wool carpets have been created for generations. Made entirely from high-quality wool—both the warp and weft—the rug features a dense structure with a pile density of around 200,000 knots/m² and an approximate thickness of 10 mm. The primary hue is a warm, medium camel brown, highlighted by deep burgundy and dark brown accents. The design follows oriental, geometric patterns: three central burgundy octagonal medallions with white and dark brown details are framed by a richly decorated border, repeating rhythmic geometric motifs in shades of red, brown, beige, and touches of white.
