The PRIM mechanical alarm clock from Czechoslovakia is a compact timepiece from the late 1960s and early 1970s, designed in the mid-century modern tradition. Its round metal body is accented with a matte golden finish and subtle traces of patina. Short cylindrical legs and the top winding knob reflect the same muted gold tone, with slight signs of oxidation. The warm, ivory-toned dial features large black Arabic numerals and distinctly matte black hands—an hour hand shaped like a teardrop and a slender minute hand. A slim brass second hand and an equally thin black alarm hand add functional detail, complemented by dense black minute markers circling the dial and the classic PRIM logo beneath '12'.
