ABOUT PRODUCTID 20297
This amphora-shaped vase, designed by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz and produced at the Institute of Glass in Kraków in 1972, is a representative work of 1970s Polish art glass. Crafted from colored glass, it features a graceful color gradient – from a translucent, soft pink body to a cool, muted lavender at the wide, flared rim. The vase is tall and cylindrical, finished with a trumpet-like mouth. Two stylized, upward-curving handles, made from the same pink glass, flank the rim, adding a decorative and sculptural accent. The base consists of three rounded, stacked discs in a deep plum-purple tone, providing both stability and a bold visual anchor. The surface is highly polished and glossy, enhancing the depth of color and the clarity of the silhouette. An original maker
