This unique, handwoven Anatolian rug from the early 20th century is an authentic example of nomadic craftsmanship from Turkey. Constructed entirely from high-quality wool in both pile and foundation, the rug features a dense, matte surface with a knot density of approximately 200,000 knots per square meter and a pile thickness of about 10 mm. The composition is dominated by a large central medallion in ivory, set against a warm terracotta orange field with deep cobalt blue corners.
