APOLLO 180 is a floor lamp designed by Broberg & Ridderstråle in 2020. Its construction is based on the juxtaposition of two conical forms: at the top, a wide, upward-facing shade with a diameter of 12.5 cm, joined by a slender, inverted cone to a cylindrical shaft. The entire piece is made from aluminum in a cool, silver hue, featuring a brushed, matte-satin finish that subtly diffuses light and highlights the metal’s refined texture. The lamp stands 180 cm tall with a 25 cm base, and a 2-meter cord. The form is free from visible fasteners or decorative elements—the construction appears unified and continuous, with elongated proportions that emphasize its architectural character. Its functionality is centered on directional illumination, enabling precise lighting of a selected zone within the interior.
