ABOUT PRODUCTID 9505
The 300-139 armchair from Swarzędzka Fabryka Mebli showcases Polish mid-century design from the 1960s. The frame is crafted from beech wood, stained in a dark palisander tone with a semi-matte finish, which accentuates the natural grain and depth of the timber. The armrests are gently rounded and seamlessly integrated with the backrest and seat, featuring visible, precise joinery at the corners. The seat and back cushions are newly made, generously padded, and upholstered in smooth, high-quality natural black leather with a subtle satin sheen. Slender, tapered legs and a slightly reclined backrest contribute to a balanced, light silhouette typical of the mid-century modern style, while broad armrests and ergonomic proportions emphasize comfort in everyday use. Condition: fully and professionally restored; no visible signs of wear or damage. All elements have been carefully renewed with respect for the original character. This piece speaks of 1960s Poland – of modernist simplicity and functional thinking, but also a desire for comfort and quality
