The 300-139 armchair, produced by Swarzędzka Fabryka Mebli in Poland in the 1960s, is a classic example of Polish mid-century modern design. Its frame is crafted from solid beech wood, stained in a medium walnut tone and finished with a matte lacquer that brings out the natural wood grain. The frame displays a light, slightly honey-brown hue. The armchair features clean, geometric lines, gently rounded armrests, and slender, tapered legs, giving it an airy, visually light character. Visible joinery and the 'floating' seat effect accentuate the craftsmanship. The seat and backrest cushions have been replaced and are upholstered in a subtle, pale pink boucle fabric, distinguished by its pronounced looped texture, which provides both comfort and visual interest.
