The Bunny Armchair, designed by Józef Chierowski in the 1970s, is a clear example of Polish mid-century modernism. Its construction features a sturdy frame made of natural beech wood, finished with a satin lacquer that accentuates the wood grain and provides a soft, semi-matte surface. The wide, flat armrests and the distinctively angled 'Z'-shaped legs give the chair a dynamic silhouette, typical of the period. Both the seat and backrest are gently contoured for ergonomic comfort, upholstered in matte velvet in a light pastel blue hue (Jade series, color 611 'easy to clean'). Subtle piping outlines the edges of the upholstery, while visible wooden dowels and screws emphasize the chair’s authentic, handcrafted nature.
