The Bunny Armchair, designed by Józef Chierowski in the 1970s, is a distinctive example of Polish mid-century modern furniture. The frame is crafted from solid wood finished in a medium-dark walnut semi-gloss, accentuating the natural wood grain. The sharply angled legs and armrests create the recognizable 'Z' silhouette, while the wide seat and gently reclined backrest ensure comfort. Two fabric-covered buttons on the backrest introduce a subtle decorative accent. The entire chair is upholstered in deep turquoise velvet with a matte finish and a discreet sheen, soft to the touch and elegantly draped over the form. Visible, precisely executed joinery, rounded armrest ends, and balanced proportions highlight the artisanal quality of the piece. The armchair has been fully restored—both upholstery and wooden frame appear authentic and show no signs of wear.
