The Corona Spectrum armchair, model EJ 5-S, is a contemporary edition of Poul M. Volther’s 1964 design for the Danish manufacturer Erik Jørgensen. The structure consists of four elliptical, gently convex cushions arranged vertically along the backrest and seat, each upholstered in a smooth, matte Kvadrat fabric in a vivid shade of orange. The metal, four-legged base with subtly curved feet is finished in the same color, lending the armchair a cohesive and striking silhouette. The cushions create a sculptural, dynamic profile that offers full back support and ergonomic comfort. Construction details, such as precise upholstery seams, visible mounting bolts, and smooth edges, highlight the high-quality craftsmanship typical of Scandinavian design. Signed and fully original, the armchair shows no signs of restoration or use.
