The GFM-142 armchair, designed by Edmund Homa in Poland in the 1970s, exemplifies Polish mid-century modern design. Its structure is based on a solid wood frame, armrests, and legs in a medium walnut-brown tone, finished with a semi-gloss lacquer that highlights the natural wood grain. The new synthetic upholstery from the Danubio series is presented in a warm beige hue with a subtle, mottled texture and a matte finish. The wide, low seat and gently reclined backrest emphasize comfort, while the chair’s proportions and precise joinery testify to careful craftsmanship. The armrests are gently tapered and rounded, and the legs subtly narrow towards the floor.
