This armchair, designed by Zenon Bączyk in the 1970s, is a representative example of Polish mid-century modern design. Both the seat and backrest feature thick, removable cushions upholstered in smooth, velvet-like fabric in a cool, muted turquoise blue with a subtle sheen. The backrest is accented by three fabric-covered buttons, adding a distinctive retro touch. The balanced proportions—a wide seat (48 cm), depth of 80 cm, and total height of 75 cm—ensure seating comfort. The chair is in fully restored condition, with upholstery and wood free from visible signs of use; all elements appear authentic and well maintained.
