ABOUT PRODUCTID 31041
The Wink armchair, designed by Toshiyuki Kita for Cassina in the 1980s, is an icon of Italian postmodernism, drawing on the language of pop-art and the Memphis movement. Its sculptural form is defined by pronounced rounded lines, a wide seat and backrest, and an integrated, extendable footrest. The original upholstery features a matte synthetic fabric in a pastel, multicolored palette—pink, lavender, blue, mint green, and cream—arranged in an abstract, botanical pattern. The surface appears soft, with a subtle, textured feel. Adjustable ‘ears’ in the headrest enhance ergonomics and allow the shape to be tailored to personal preferences. Four black plastic or rubber casters offer mobility and allow the chair to transform easily into a chaise lounge. Construction details are discreet, with no visible joints, and the finish reflects the high-quality craftsmanship typical of Cassina. Condition: very good—no stains, wear, or signs of restoration. The armchair retains its original vintage character. Before sale, it will be professionally cleaned by an upholstery cleaning company. The listed price applies to a single piece.Wink speaks
