The Arrow 120 Floor Lamp, designed by Violaine d'Harcourt, is a contemporary interpretation of minimalist form inspired by the modernist aesthetics of the 1960s. The structure consists of a tall, hexagonal column crafted from polished stainless steel, with a mirror-like surface seamlessly transitioning into the integrated circular base. A centrally placed transparent bulb emits diffused warm light, creating a contrast with the cool silver tone of the body. The absence of visible fastenings and decorative accents emphasizes the purity of geometry and precision of execution. The proportions—120 × 28 × 28 cm—highlight the lamp’s monolithic silhouette and architectural character. Arrow 120 communicates calm and consistency. Its smooth, reflective surface captures ambient light and colors, creating the impression of a shifting light sculpture. The raw form, stripped of unnecessary accents, evokes associations with contemporary architecture and refined applied art. The overall presence is restrained—as if light is an inherent part of the structure rather than just its function. In a living room, the lamp will perform well as a solo accent in a lounge area or next to a contemporary sofa. It can be paired with furniture featuring clean lines, glass, lacquered wood, or concrete to enhance its industrial character. In interiors with a muted color palette, the lamp acts as a subtle mirror, reflecting daylight and introducing geometric rhythm. It is worth combining it with other polished metal elements or minimalist textiles to maintain compositional clarity.
