This ceiling lamp from 1930s Germany represents the decorative confidence of Art Deco. Its two-layered glass shade is finished in a warm, creamy ivory tone with a soft yellow undertone, and boasts a subtly glossy, satin-like surface. Vertical ribbing gives the rounded shade a gentle, textured rhythm, accentuating its full shape. Delicate, hand-painted floral motifs appear in pastel hues—light pink, beige, and soft browns—complemented by ribbon-like ornamental accents on the panels. The mounting hardware, including a flared canopy and slender stem, is crafted from a matte, dark material reminiscent of ebonite, with a gentle patina especially visible on the ceiling cup and support.
