This glass centerpiece bowl by Belgian manufacturer Val Saint Lambert, produced in the 1950s, exemplifies late Art Deco with visible influences from mid-century modernism. The vessel is made from glass in a deep, amber tone, distinguished by its high translucency and interplay of textures. The faceted, raised surfaces are polished to a glossy, reflective sheen, while the recessed areas have a matte, softly frosted finish. The bowl is supported by three low, sharply geometric legs that merge seamlessly with the sculptural form. A bold, radial pattern of vertical ribs reinforces its architectural disposition, showcasing the artisanal glassmaking expertise typical for Val Saint Lambert. The piece is preserved in very good vintage condition—no visible cracks or chips, only minimal wear appropriate for its age. There are no signs of restoration.
