This set of six liqueur glasses, crafted in the 1920s by the Sandrik manufactory near Banská Štiavnica (present-day Slovakia), is a striking example of early Art Deco applied arts from Central Europe. Each glass is made from high-quality crystal, tinted in a translucent uranium green that subtly fades to clear glass at the rim. Geometric, faceted cuts on the bowls create a dynamic interplay of light and shadow, emphasizing the decorative, modernist spirit of the era. Slender stems and bases, produced from white brass and plated with silver, feature a smooth, mirror-like finish. The set is completed by a silver-plated brass tray with a gently scalloped edge, echoing the geometric motifs of the glasses. The ensemble is preserved in very good condition – with no chips, cracks, or visible signs of wear. This composition brings together two voices of its time: the noble simplicity of metal and the uranium-green crystal bowl, which in the 1920s evoked a sense of modernity and avant-garde flair. Restrained yet expressive forms seem to tell stories of an era when geometric decoration and clean lines signaled a new order in art and daily life. Every reflection on the cut surfaces of the glasses recalls the ambiance of salons where the ritual of liqueur tasting was a statement of style and artful living. The set can be paired with light-toned porcelain or silver cutlery to highlight its modernist, Art Deco provenance. It would work well on
