This porcelain serving tray, produced by the Pirkenhammer (Brezova) manufactory between 1920 and 1930, exemplifies Central European porcelain artistry from the interwar period. Crafted from high-quality, glossy porcelain in a deep cobalt blue, the tray features a central decorative frieze in warm, matte gold, adorned with a repeated motif of roses in shades of pink, red, and white, each surrounded by green leaves, applied using the underglaze decal technique. The edges and integrated double handles are accented with hand-applied, raised gold gilding, catching the light in both matte and glossy finishes. The tray's form is a softly rounded rectangle with gently curved edges and widely spaced handles, enhancing both its functionality and ease of use when serving.
