This vase, produced by the Welz glassworks in Czechoslovakia during the 1930s, is a representation of the Spatterglass technique, emblematic of the Art Deco period. The thick, molded glass forms a geometric, structured silhouette that flares at the base and lip, tapering at the waist and highlighted by three parallel, horizontal ridges towards the lower portion. Across its surface, a glossy, smooth finish intensifies a vibrant palette—electric yellow, deep blue, bold orange-red, and black—distributed in a dynamic, flame-like, spattered pattern. The entire piece is preserved in very good condition, without evident damage, cracks, or signs of wear.This vase echoes the voice of interwar Europe—of the 1930s' gaze towards modernity and decorative confidence.
