ABOUT PRODUCTID 13992
This Art Deco vase, produced by the renowned Moser manufactory in Karlovy Vary in the 1930s, is crafted from high-quality faceted crystal. The heavy, solid glass construction guarantees both stability and well-balanced proportions: a slender, elongated form gently tapers upwards, its surface animated with pronounced vertical faceting. The design presents a rhythmic interplay of geometric lines, accentuated by the richly polished finish. The rim is sharply defined, while the substantial base echoes the symmetry of the body, also finished with precise facets. The color is a refined, cool light grey with a lavender note and a subtle bluish hue. Free of ornamental motifs or applied decoration, the vase’s decorative effect relies solely on the dynamic play of light across its cut surfaces. Signed by the maker, the piece shows no visible signs of use and is preserved in very good technical and visual condition. This piece embodies the spirit of Central European modernism—the era when geometric discipline and an appreciation for noble materials came together. The vase recalls the 1930s, when Moser glass was a byword for sculptural elegance: its edges orchestrate light into a quiet, crystalline language. The transparency and sharpness evoke the era’s fascination with lasting forms and linear harmony, poised between artistic freedom and disciplined craftsmanship. The vase stands as a glass monolith that seems to hold
