ABOUT PRODUCTID 13984
This Art Deco crystal vase, produced by the Moser glassworks in Karlovy Vary, Czechoslovakia during the 1930s, represents a mature interpretation of the style. The vase is made entirely from thick, faceted crystal in a uniform, deep amber – golden-brown – tone. Its form is defined by strong geometry: an octagonal silhouette, vertical facets, and a broad, stable base tapering gracefully upwards. The design abstains from additional ornamentation, relying on minimalist lines and meticulous faceting to give the piece its refined, luxurious character. The surface is highly polished and smooth, catching and reflecting light in a way that emphasizes subtle tonal variations created by different crystal thicknesses. Small air bubbles within the glass may be visible—hallmarks of hand-craftsmanship. There are no visible chips, cracks, or restoration marks. Condition: very good – minor signs of gentle use are consistent with age, and overall originality is preserved without compromise. The vase embodies the spirit of Art Deco: disciplined geometry paired with the color intensity of amber, as though the material were designed to capture and hold light within its core. Its clarity and precisely cut edges evoke an era when luxury was harmonized with utility, craftsmanship equated to artistry. This vase tells its story in the confident tones of the 1930s, its cool brilliance and assertive shape suggesting the steadiness of an object that has witnessed change while retaining a deliberate, yet restrained presence. This vase can be displayed
