ABOUT PRODUCTID 12605
This Art Deco vase from the 1930s, produced by Huta Niemen in Poland, is a refined example of collectible glassmaking with enduring form. The thick-walled body is crafted from high-quality manganese crystal glass, displaying a pale, cool-toned violet with medium saturation. Its surface is highly polished and free from applied decoration or color additions. The entire character of the piece is defined by bold, vertical geometric cuts arranged in a rhythmic pattern, creating an architectural, sculptural volume and a dynamic play of light and shade. The silhouette is compact and robust, with a gently flared lip and a heavy, stable base. No additional color or embellishment is present. The vase is preserved in very good condition—there are no chips or significant scratches, only minor traces of use and possibly small air bubbles typical of the manufacturing process. This crystalline vessel and its poised silhouette evoke the refined spirit of the 1930s: an era when geometry and light shaped the ambiance of modern interiors. The precise, vertical rhythm of faceted cuts acts as a small monument—a reminder that in Art Deco, clarity and restraint orchestrate every reflection. The vase speaks of considered design, its every facet echoing the voice of its time with clarity and architectural discipline. The vase is best displayed on a clean, light surface—oak, marble, or lacquer—where the play of light across the facets is immediately revealed. It can be paired with minimalist 1930s ceramics or shown alone, letting color and texture take precedence. It fits gracefully among Art Deco or late modernist furnishings, but will also stand out in a geometric, contemporary interior; for contrast, one could add a magenta flower or a simple geometric lamp in satin nickel to highlight its sculptural presence.
