This Art Deco vase, designed by Josef Hoffmann and produced by the Moser manufactory in Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) during the 1930s, is composed of finely faceted crystal in an intense, saturated yellow hue. The architectural, geometric silhouette is defined by pronounced vertical faceting that radiates upwards and outwards, culminating in a wide, polygonal base. There are no additional decorative elements: the purity of the form, clarity of color, and transparency of the material exemplify the artistry of the period. The highly polished surface enhances the glass’s luminosity, allowing light to reflect vividly across its smooth planes. The piece is signed, attesting to its prestigious provenance.
