This unique cake stand, produced by the renowned Fraget manufactory in Warsaw circa 1890–1910, is an outstanding example of late 19th to early 20th-century luxury tableware. Crafted from silver-plated brass, it features a highly reflective, mirror-like surface in a cool silvery tone. The generously sized, flat top (27 cm in diameter) is set on a robust, tiered pedestal base, whose soft, undulating contours evoke the Art Nouveau (Secessionist) style. The construction is seamless and unified, with no additional engravings or decorative accents, while natural patina and subtle signs of use enhance its authentic antique character. The piece bears the hallmark “Fraget / MB Plaque, no. 4523, hammer mark,” confirming its authenticity.
