This early 20th-century Art Nouveau chamberstick is a compact, portable candlestick, exemplifying the craftsmanship of the WMF workshops active in Germany. Crafted from silver-plated brass, it features a cool, matte silvery tone with a subtle patina. The design centers around a round, shallow tray with a beaded edge and a cylindrical candle holder. A slender, conical snuffer with a twisted finial and a gracefully curved handle ending in a flat, ornate thumb rest—adorned with stylized botanical motifs—complete the composition typical of the Art Nouveau period. The proportions are balanced for both stability and ease of use. The surface shows only minor traces of wear and age, consistent with genuine objects from this era. The piece is in very good condition, with no visible major damage.
