ABOUT PRODUCTID 23123
This antique creamer, crafted in Germany at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, features a compact, rounded body resting on three polished spherical feet. The entire piece is finished in cool, high-gloss silver, with a mirror-like surface that reflects light and accentuates the noble character of the material. The body is adorned with vertical, scalloped fluting that imparts a sense of movement and visual lightness. The single, ornate handle, gracefully curved in a flowing scroll motif, echoes Art Nouveau influences of the era. The proportions are compact, with a wide, open mouth and a gently curved spout. Hallmarked with 830 silver, a crescent, a crown, and the silversmith’s initials. The condition is very good, with no visible damage or repairs and only minor surface scratches consistent with age.The form of this creamer evokes the spirit of the fin de siècle, when Art Nouveau was reshaping objects of daily use. The radiant silver surface and decorative handle reflect the era’s fascination with organic lines and artisanal detail. This vessel seems to whisper stories of mornings when the silver gleam of the table mingled with the scent of fresh milk—of a time when details mattered and each object carried its own quiet narrative. The creamer could be paired with fine porcelain featuring delicate reliefs or with other silverware from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It would serve well on a classically set breakfast table, highlighting the elegance of a coffee or tea service. Consider combining it with a linen tablecloth and understated ceramics to showcase its mirror
