This Austrian Art Nouveau jardiniere, dating to around 1890–1900, exemplifies the refined ceramic craftsmanship of the turn of the 20th century. Crafted from glazed ceramic, it features a geometric, elongated rectangular form with gently rounded corners and straight sides. The exterior is adorned with raised reliefs of snowdrops—a quintessential Art Nouveau motif—rendered in subtle shades of white, yellow, and green. The dominant color is a cool, medium green with soft gradient transitions; the lower section shifts into deeper greens and browns, evoking grass and earth, while the interior is finished with a matte, pale pink glaze. The glossy surface highlights the vibrancy of the colors and the depth of the reliefs, and the craftsmanship is evident in the sharply defined details and smooth, even glazing. The base bears a factory mark impressed in the clay. The jardiniere remains in excellent, original condition with no signs of damage or restoration.
