This tall Art Nouveau photo frame, dating from circa 1900, originates from Austria. Crafted from metal using the casting technique, the frame presents a deep, muted brownish-gray tone with subtle cool and greenish undertones. The surface finish ranges from matte to satin, with areas of natural patina and gentle wear visible along the edges and raised decorative elements. The proportions are elongated and elegant (height 23 cm, width 15 cm, depth 12 cm), true to the Art Nouveau aesthetic. In the upper corners, clusters of forget-me-nots are rendered in high relief, serving both decorative and structural purposes. The sides curve outward gracefully, the top center is accented by a round geometric ornament, and the lower section features stylized, incised rosettes. At the back, a sturdy integrated stand allows the frame to be displayed on a tabletop. Designed for a photograph measuring 9.5 × 17 cm.
