This Swedish Art Nouveau serving platter, dating from the early 20th century, is crafted in a soft, matte silver-tone metal. Its surface reveals subtle darkening in the recesses of the relief, the result of natural patina and age. The main decorative feature is a repeated motif of wreath medallions, distinctly Art Nouveau in their character, running around the edge and seamlessly transitioning into two ornate, asymmetrical handles shaped like curling tendrils.
