ABOUT PRODUCTID 16444
These early 20th-century table scissors, made in Solingen, Germany, are crafted from forged and polished steel with a cool, silvery-grey matte finish. Areas of subtle bronze and bluish patina emerge along the blades and decorative details, underlining their age and authenticity. The scissors feature a slender, elongated body with long, tapered blades gracefully merging into ornate oval handles. Openwork botanical motifs, rhythmic convex beading, and finely hand-engraved details blend Art Nouveau’s organic lines with a whisper of Gothic inspiration. The design is reinforced with visible rivets and a central screw, embodying traditional craftsmanship while maintaining flawless functionality. Proportions are balanced, and despite their decorative flair, the scissors remain fully practical. The length is 16 cm; width, 5 cm.
