ABOUT PRODUCTID 1875
This Art Nouveau vase, crafted in Poland circa 1900, is made of ceramic and distinguished by a form inspired by organic motifs of the era. The silhouette is slender, with a narrow neck opening into a broad, rounded base, accented by two asymmetrical, branch-like handles that fluidly merge into the vessel’s body. The front is adorned with a three-dimensional chestnut motif—spreading leaves and two chestnut fruits—rendered in naturalistic tones of green, yellow, and brown, with gentle color transitions. The dominant palette centers on warm, muted browns with olive and ochre undertones, evoking the ambiance of autumn foliage. The polished finish imparts a soft satin-matte sheen, while the raised decorative elements display subtle variations in texture. The vase stands 30.5 cm tall and measures 16 cm in diameter. It is preserved in excellent original condition, with no visible repairs or damage and a well-maintained patina appropriate for its age. The shape and decorative language of this vase echo the dawn of the twentieth century, when Art Nouveau sought its muse in the natural world and flowing organic forms. The sculptural handles and lifelike chestnut detail evoke the memory of autumn walks in a park, where leaves gently settle and nature becomes a model for craftsmanship. This is an object that seems to murmur, “time passes, yet the beauty of nature endures,” inf
