This artistic vase, designed by Jerzy Słuczan-Orkusz in 1972, represents a unique example of Polish studio glass from the experimental spirit of the 1970s. Created in the workshop of the Glass Institute in Kraków, it is made of mass-colored glass. The body, in a transparent and saturated red-orange hue, is rounded and wide, finished with a gently flared rim. The handle stands out as a sculptural accent—a yellow-orange gradient seamlessly blending from the body, adorned with spiked protrusions along its length. The base is irregular and wavy, with sculptural folds emphasizing its handcrafted nature. The smooth, glossy surface reflects light, deepening the color and enhancing the organic quality of the form.
