ABOUT PRODUCTID 35203
This Bohemian Art Glass ashtray, designed by Miloslav Klinger for the Železný Brod glassworks in 1960s Czechoslovakia, is a refined example of mid-century modern artistry. Handcrafted from thick, heavy glass weighing 1.6 kg, the object presents a compact, sculptural silhouette with fluid, biomorphic lines. Its monochromatic palette—a warm brown gradient flowing from a deep, saturated top to a lighter, honey-amber base—emphasizes the purity of the material and the minimalist intent of the design. Two integrated cigarette rests are subtly carved within the organic curves, while the entire piece is finished with a high-gloss, mirror-like polish. Details visible in the photographs—soft edges, balanced proportions, and the lustrous surface—underscore its sculptural and timeless presence. The ashtray is preserved in very good condition, with only minor, unobtrusive scratches on the underside typical of surface movement; the form remains free of chips or cracks. The original signature confirms authenticity. The
