This bronze ashtray, attributed to the atelier of Carl Auböck and made in Austria during the 1950s, is conceived in the organic shape of a leaf. Its construction presents a gently curved silhouette with softly raised edges and a fluid line, all embodying a minimalist, organic form. The patinated, warm brown surface with a matte finish, paired with a subtly granular texture typical of sand-cast bronze, underscores the authenticity of its material. A handle-like extension, seamlessly integrated as a further sweep of one edge, serves simultaneously as a functional and aesthetic accent.
