This collectible Attar perfume bottle dates from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, most likely originating from India or Persia. The body is crafted from natural bone (probably camel bone), featuring a compact cylindrical form (height 9.6 cm, diameter 3.4 cm) that is precisely turned and smoothly polished. The surface is adorned with richly colored, hand-painted miniature artwork, dominated by deep red, turquoise, and emerald green hues, outlined in brown and black. The key decorative element is a frieze of hybrid kneeling figures—beings with human torsos and the heads of bulls or goats—dressed in elaborate garments, some holding black prayer beads. The bottle is topped with a slender, flame-shaped stopper painted in vivid yellows, oranges, and reds with black accents, adding a striking vertical accent.
