This Art Deco bar cabinet, designed by Jindřich Halabala for UP Závody in 1930s Czechoslovakia, features a wooden body in a warm, honey-brown tone with a semi-gloss finish and clearly visible grain. The front and sides are closed with sliding clear glass panels set in light wooden frames, while the top surface is protected by a glass plate that enhances reflections and safeguards the wood. The back panel is mirrored, expanding and brightening the interior display area. The legs and side supports are finished in deep, glossy black, providing a bold contrast to the warm wood and emphasizing the cabinet’s geometric silhouette. The whole structure stands on two broad, slightly curved feet—a detail characteristic of the Art Deco period.
