This bar cabinet, designed by Bohumil Landsman for the Czech manufacturer Jitona in the 1960s, exemplifies Central European mid-century modern craftsmanship. The structure is built from solid beech wood, veneered with oak and walnut, resulting in a harmonious, warm palette dominated by medium brown tones with subtle black accents. The form features clean, geometric lines with gently rounded edges, while four splayed, tapering legs lend the piece visual lightness. The front is smooth, accented only by a horizontal groove and an integrated handle cut-out, with no visible exterior fittings. Inside, a black glass shelf and a rear mirror create a refined display, while gold-toned aluminum fittings serve as the sole decorative detail.
