ABOUT PRODUCTID 26644
This Italian serving bar cart, designed by Aldo Tura in the 1960s, exemplifies mid-century modern style with a distinct touch of Hollywood Regency glamour. The structure features two circular tiers made from thickly lacquered goatskin or parchment, displaying a deep brown hue with organic marbling and subtle tonal transitions. The high-gloss finish accentuates the unique texture and the inherent nobility of the material. Three slender, turned brass columns in a warm satin-gold tone support the cart, each adorned with ringed decorative details. The upper tier is encircled by a sculptural, undulating gallery rail, while the lower shelf features a matching brass rim and integrated bottle holders. Of its three legs, two end in stylized brass caster wheels reminiscent of scoops, and the third provides stationary stability. The proportions are harmonious, dominated by the geometry of the circle, while the slender supports lend visual lightness. The cart is preserved in very good condition: only minor
