This two-tier bar cart, attributed to Maison Jansen and dating from the 1950s/60s France, exemplifies the luxurious functionality and ornamental flair of Hollywood Regency. The structure is composed of solid, gilded brass with a distinguished natural patina, offering a warm, lustrous gold finish that testifies to its age and authenticity. Both oval trays are crafted from high-gloss mahogany veneer, each surrounded by an intricate openwork brass gallery with scalloped, undulating edges. The upper tray is removable and may be used independently for serving, while the lower tier features dedicated brass bottle holders. The cart stands on four decorative, spoked wheels and is complemented by a gracefully curved handle with ribbed and scrollwork accents.
