This bedside table lamp, attributed to Stanislav Kučera for the Czech manufacturer Kamenický Šenov in the 1950s, presents mid-century modern aesthetics in a subtle yet confident manner. Its tall, ovoid shade made of matte opaline glass delicately diffuses light, casting a gentle, atmospheric glow. The base is crafted from brass with a softly patinated golden finish, contributing a sense of vintage character, while the tripod stand – slender brass rods ending in spherical, ivory-tone feet – visually echoes the shade and adds an impression of lightness to the silhouette. The overall construction is minimalist, with visible rivets highlighting authenticity and the integrity of materials. The lamp stands 35 cm high and measures 14 cm in both width and depth.
