This vintage Berber carpet, measuring 200 × 285 cm, is a testament to traditional Moroccan craftsmanship from the 1960s. Hand-knotted entirely from wool, it features a density of approximately 40,000 knots per square meter. The pile is dense and soft with a matte finish and subtly uneven, artisanal texture. The composition is set on a creamy beige ground, adorned with geometric motifs: elongated central diamond shapes filled with intricate details in earthy browns, rust red, and muted orange. Smaller diamonds form a border, framed by a bold, dark brown zigzag edge. The carpet’s edges are neatly finished, and the colors, though slightly softened with age, remain vibrant and harmonious. There are no visible stains, tears, or significant signs of wear. The rug is preserved in very good vintage condition.
