The mahogany bookcase, model 35, produced by Danish manufacturer Omann Jun in the 1970s, embodies the mature phase of Scandinavian modernism. The structure is finished with a mahogany veneer in a deep, warm brown tone, featuring a pronounced natural wood grain that brings visual depth. Solid wood legs, stained black and cut in clean, angular lines, lend the piece a sense of lightness. The proportions reflect the era’s aesthetic: a geometric silhouette, evenly spaced shelves, and balanced dimensions (149 × 179 cm). Inside, eight adjustable shelves allow for flexible storage and display options. Four cable management holes in the back panel make the bookcase suitable for multimedia equipment. The construction is precise, with seamless joints, no visible hardware, and a semi-matte finish that highlights attention to detail.
