This decorative bottle stopper and pourer, crafted in the Netherlands at the turn of the 20th century, is an example of Dutch Art Nouveau silverwork. Made of 833 silver, the upper section features a distinctly hand-finished, conical spout that flows into a wide, richly ornamented collar. Filigree spirals, raised silver beads, and a surrounding wire and granulation motif encapsulate the design language of late 19th–early 20th-century Dutch craftsmanship, reflecting Art Nouveau and folk art influences. The lower portion consists of a matte, light brown cork cylinder with darker natural markings and a rough texture typical of aged oak bark. The silver part is noticeably broader than the cork, lending balanced, slightly robust proportions to the overall form. The piece is in good condition, showing light traces of use and surface patina that emphasize its authenticity—no visible damages or restoration marks, original in all details.
