This bottle-shaped vase, designed by Stefan Sadowski in the 1970s for the 'Sudety' Glassworks in Szczytna Śląska, exemplifies Polish modernism in a refreshing, decorative form. Crafted from soda-lime glass throughout, its cool, deep green color is achieved by mass pigmentation, while the antico technique infuses the surface with an artisanal texture of tiny air bubbles and irregular inclusions, making each piece unique. The glossy, smooth surface accentuates the vibrancy of the hue, and the harmonious dimensions—30.5 cm high and 13.5 cm in diameter—create a sculptural silhouette with a wide, rounded base, a neck encircled by three raised rings, and a flared lip. The design balances geometric discipline with organic curvature, hallmarks of 1970s modernist aesthetics. The vase is in ideal condition: the glass is free from chips, cracks, or any signs of restoration.
