The small 'A Bollicine' bowl is the result of a collaboration between Carlo Scarpa and the renowned Venini glassworks, crafted by hand on Murano island in the 1960s. Fashioned from glass of a vivid, cool emerald green, its surface is polished to a high gloss, lending remarkable clarity and luminance. The construction is distinctly modernist: a perfectly rounded body with moderately thick walls and a subtly undulating, irregular rim that discreetly reveals its artisanal origins. The only ornamentation comes from the regular, encapsulated air bubbles (bullicante technique), arranged in concentric vertical rows throughout the glass.
