The Fazzoletto vase, designed by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini Murano in the 1950s, is a remarkable example of Italian mid-century glass artistry. Crafted from hand-blown Murano glass, its silhouette is inspired by the soft, flowing movement of a handkerchief—undulating, irregular edges mimic the gentle fall of fabric, as if capturing motion in glass. The interplay of clear bands and delicate curves evokes the summer light of Venice, shimmering on the lagoon. This vase not only showcases technical
